A place for discussion threads focused on particular patterned forms, such as in juggling, weaving or architecture. “Alpaca” is short for “Algorithmic Pattern Catalogue”, and the discussions here can be a step towards cataloguing different kinds patterns.

Discussions about aspects of pattern that run across several or many forms are better in the General category. However many aspects of pattern are far from universal, and are about the particular affordances and constraints of the materials being used, whether threads, movements or abstract notations.

As ever, don’t worry too much about being on/off-topic, as discussions can always be moved later!
